Public improvements for Mathis Center

LAWTON – Taxpayer-financed public infrastructure improvements for a proposed Mathis Center in west Lawton will total $782,350. Wells Construction of Lawton bid $68,128 for concrete work at 4800 NW Cache Road associated with the traffic signals, cross-walks, and traffic control safety measures.

Council reviews Mathis Center plan

LAWTON – A proposed $16 million, 20-acre commercial development in west Lawton anchored by Mathis Brothers Furniture, with ample room for future construction of retail businesses such as restaurants, a grocery store and a hotel, was reviewed Tuesday by the City Council.
