Oklahoma did not see any measurable rainfall the week of Nov. 2-8.

Drought conditions were rated 26% abnormally dry to severe drought, down 26 points from the previous week, according to the Nov. 3 U.S. Drought Monitor Report. Additionally, 11% of the state fell in the moderate to extreme drought category, down 21 points from the previous week.

Across the state, temperatures averaged in the high 50s.

A snapshot of how crops fared for the week of Nov. 2-8:

Small grains: Planted winter wheat reached 95%, up one point from the previous year, and four points from normal. Emerged winter wheat came in at 82%, down three points from last year but unchanged from normal.

Planted canola reached 87%, up 26 points from last year but unchanged from normal. Emerged canola came in at 70%, up 38 points from last year but unchanged from normal.

Planted rye reached 95%, up 11 points from last year, and one point from normal. Emerged rye reached 77%, up 29 points from last year but unchanged from normal.

Planted oats reached 56%, up 11 points from last year but unchanged from normal. Emerged oats reached 32%, up 32 points from last year but unchanged from normal.

Row crops: Harvested corn reached 95%, up one point from last year, and one point from normal. Harvested sorghum reached 75%, down three points from last year and four points from normal.

Soybeans dropping leaves reached 95%, up 11 points from last year, and five points from normal. Harvested soybeans came in at 55%, up three points from last year but down seven points from normal.

Mature peanuts reached 95%, unchanged from last year but down one point from normal. Harvested peanuts reached 74%, unchanged from last year, and from normal.

Harvested cotton reached 42%, down three points from last year but unchanged from normal.

Hay: The fifth cutting of alfalfa hay reached 45%, up 45 points from last year, and nine points from normal.

The third cutting of other hay reached 65%, down three points from last year but unchanged from normal. The fourth cutting of other hay reached 27%, up 17 points from last year but down 16 points from normal.

Pasture and livestock: Pasture and range condition was rated at 64% good to fair, and livestock condition was rated at 87% good to fair.
