LAWTON - Challenging teams with fun factoids, Lawton’s St. Mary’s Catholic School held its second annual Trivia Knight fun(d)-raiser at the Lawton-Fort Sill Hilton Garden Inn’s Ballroom Friday evening, Jan. 17.
Sponsored by Bob Chambers Heat, Air and Appliance Repair, Knights of Columbus Insurance Agent Michael Dalby, Platt College, Lawton-Fort Sill Hilton Garden Inn, and Redneck Door Company, the sold-out room full room of contestants were asked questions regarding history, science, classic board games, TV detective characters and more. Habemus Answers outscored The Brewsual Suspects, Red Hot Trivia Peppers, Team Newsies (Southwest Ledger staff) and Team Parker Family, Team 5 Girls and a Guy, The Knights of Columbus Who Say Ni!, Jesus is Coming Back, Look Busy! Wonder Women, The Team That Shall Not Be Named, and last year’s winning team, the Ohana Warriors. Special thanks to those who donated items for the door prizes and silent auction items.
