McMahon Auditorium closed through April for renovations

From staff reports LAWTON – Renovations at the McMahon Memorial Auditorium are progressing as scheduled, with work now shifting from the exterior to the interior of the historic venue.As a result, the auditorium will remain closed through mid-April 2025 to facilitate renovations.

Commission chooses chairman, vice chair for ’25

LAWTON – Board of Comanche County Commissioners Chairman Josh Powers will lead the board again this year.In its f irst meeting of 2025, the commission voted 3-0 Jan. 6 to appoint Powers to the chairmanship for another one-year term. The board also named Commissioner Ryan John as the vice chairman.
