OKLAHOMA CITY — Attorneys general from almost half of the states have urged majority and minority leaders in both houses of Congress to pass “meaningful legislation … to allow states to jam contraband cell phones.

American credit card debt neared a trillion dollars by the end of last year. Lending Tree reported that the mountain of credit card debt climbed to $925 billion. TransUnion said credit card debt totaled $930.6 billion in the fourth quarter of 2022, an 18.5% increase from a year earlier.

Three co-conspirators in a multimillion-dollar scheme to smuggle reptiles from the United States to Asia have been sentenced in a South Florida federal court.
