New Duncan Main Street director welcomes role

DUNCAN – New Main Street Executive Director Billie Strutton has a passion for her community and that excites her. Strutton took over the director’s role for Duncan Main Street on May 1 after serving in an interim role since February.

Oklahoma defied 2021 population loss trend

OKLAHOMA CITY – The Great Plains struggled to retain population between 2020 and 2021, and large urban counties experienced an exodus of 863,000 residents last year, the first time this group has had negative growth in the past 50 years, the Economic Innovation Group reported.

Law firm hosts meet-and-greet in Lawton

LAWTON — Comanche Nation members got a chance Saturday to chat with representatives of a law firm hoping to serve as the Nation’s new tribal attorney.   Oklahoma-based firm Crowe and Dunlevy hosted a meet-and-greet for tribal members at Los Tres Amigos Mexican Restaurant, 2002 E. Gore Blvd.
