Public golf courses often lose money, study shows

OKLAHOMA CITY – The Reason Foundation reviewed financial statements of 221 local governments that reported operating golf courses, including eight in Oklahoma, and 70% of them operated in ‘the red.

OKLAHOMA CITY – Nearly 5,300 miles of two-lane highways in Oklahoma – 56% of total miles of two-lane highways in the state – have deficient shoulders, the Oklahoma Department of Transportation reports.
