Lawton celebrates first in series of sidewalk projects

LAWTON –With the help of revenue from medical marijuana sales tax, Lawton is tackling a series of projects designed to make it easier for pedestrians to get around town.

Lawmakers, city officials celebrate FISTA construction start

Supreme Court OKs $200M highway bond issue

OKLAHOMA CITY – The state Supreme Court has given its blessing to revenue bonds sought by state transportation officials in order to secure a federal loan. The funds will help finance the Oklahoma Department of Transportation’s program to upgrade two-lane highways throughout the state.

Production company to shoot film in Lawton

LAWTON – The filmmaking company Trinitie Productions LLC is seeking actors, crew members and financial sponsors for its latest project.   Trinitie is scheduled to begin shooting the short film “Rescue” in May in Lawton.
