Cache suspends police chief, animal control officer

CACHE – Cache City Council voted Wednesday to suspend Police Chief Michael Crank and Animal Control Officer Alicia Hainline for two days without pay.   However, the council decided it would not take disciplinary action against Probationary Patrol Officer Kylie Kutmen.

Lawton showcases Patterson Center mural

LAWTON – A scene of Lawton residents mingling with local landmarks hangs on the north side of the Patterson Community Center, located at 4 NE Arlington Ave.   The Patterson Center mural was painted about 30 years ago, but it was damaged by weather.

Altus OKs incentive for 911 operators

ALTUS – Lack of 911 operators prompted the city council to approve a $3,000 incentive for prospective communications specialists. The decision came at the March 24 council meeting when the council also set a list of qualifications for the 911 positions.
