Lawton takes final steps in redrawing ward boundaries

LAWTON – The Lawton Redistricting Commission is close to finishing its once-a-decade task of redrawing the city’s ward boundaries.
The commission voted 9-0 Dec. 16 to rescind its previously approved ward map, which was flawed because a small section of Ward 7 was accidentally included in Ward 2.

UP taking steps to reduce GHG emissions

OKLAHOMA CITY – Union Pacific Railroad has announced its intention to cut its greenhouse gas emissions 26% by 2030 compared to its 2018 levels. UP also declared its commitment to achieve net zero carbon emissions by 2050.
