Rig Report: State, national oil rig counts slip again

From staff reports The continued slump in the number of oil and gas drilling rigs was reported by Baker Hughes Co. in its weekly rig count released Friday.The nationwide count slipped by one to 554 rigs while Oklahoma’s count fell as well.

Lawton landfill damaged by rain; D&Ds paused for 60 days

Because of extensive flood damage to the two new cells under construction at Lawton’s landfill, the number of free dumps has been scaled back from six times a year to one per quarter and the City Council imposed a 60-day moratorium on demolition of dilapidated structures.
