LAWTON — Four of the five candidates for the Ward 2 seat on the Lawton City Council outlined their ideas Tuesday for reducing Lawton’s crime rate and helping the city live within its means.

LAWTON — Four candidates for the Ward 2 seat on the Lawton City Council made their case to voters last Friday.

Cafe owner cites lifetime fondness for cooking

ALTUS – Sharon Switzer wouldn’t know what to do if she didn’t own the Sunrise Café, a job she has held since 1997. But Switzer is more than a back-office owner. On any given day, she works the cash register, waits on customers and is the chief cook and bottle washer.
