Summit to buy gas assets of CenterPoint

Summit Utilities, Inc., of Centennial, Colo., has signed a definitive agreement to acquire the Arkansas and Oklahoma gas distribution assets of CenterPoint Energy, Inc. for $2.15 billion in cash.
