In the decades after the Civil War, America began to change as it turned from an agricultural society to an urban-industrial one. With a large influx of immigrants and farmers leaving their fields the major industrial centers quickly began to fill and workers were forced to compete for jobs.

New director embraces change for Boys and Girls Club

LAWTON — After taking the helm in September, Jacobi Crowley asked his staff for suggestions on ways to advance the club and ensure greater success for its 80 members—many of whom are second- or third-generation members.

FHFA sells 130,808 overdue loans

WASHINGTON – The Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) shed almost 131,000 delinquent loans during the first half of this year, the agency reported this month. The FHFA issued its latest report on the sale of non-performing loans (NPLs) by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac (“the Enterprises”).
