Recounts required in narrow state elections

OKLAHOMA CITY – Legislation that could require a recount if a statewide election on a statutory issue or constitutional change is decided by a narrow margin was signed by Governor Stitt. House Bill 2564 by Rep. Chad Caldwell, R-Enid, and Sen. Marty Quinn, R-Claremore, goes into effect Nov.

OKLAHOMA CITY – Depending on who you asked, Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt’s State of the State speech Monday was either a strong success or a cause for concern. Monday afternoon, Republicans praised the speech and said they appreciated Stitt’s acknowledgment of their work.

Stitt pledges to work in tandem with Legislature
