Former Tillman County deputy arrested, charged

A former Tillman County sheriff's deputy was arrested Sept. 16 in Pontotoc County on suspicion of assaulting an inmate at the Tillman County Jail. Kacey Brenton Shaver, 32, is accused of unlawfully using a Taser on someone when he worked for the Tillman County Sheriff's Office.
