LAWTON – Cynthia Williams, who has worked for the city of Lawton for 18 years, is the city’s new deputy director of public works. Williams joined the city staff in 2003 as an industrial pretreatment compliance officer, the city said Friday in a news release.

Tornadic storms rip through SW Oklahoma

Storms that rolled through Southwest Oklahoma overnight Tuesday damaged a cattle ranch near Mountain Park in Kiowa County. One horse was injured during the storms, which produced at least one tornado.

LAWTON — Lawton has a new public information director.   Kaley Patterson Dorsey was recently named as communications and marketing director for the city of Lawton, according to a news release from City Manager Michael Cleghorn’s office.
