Crop report: Drought conditions worsening; small grains down

Rainfall totals averaged 0.24 of an inch across Oklahoma the week of April 5-11, with the northeast district recording the highest total at 0.82 of an inch.
Drought conditions were rated 50% abnormally dry to exceptional drought, up 10 points from the previous week, according to the April 6 U.S.

OLUSTEE – The Olustee Board of Trustees recently voted to buy a new backhoe from OCT Equipment. The board voted 3-0 on March 11 to accept OCT’s $75,000 bid for a 2018 Case backhoe, according to a copy of the minutes. Trustees Linda Lopez and Alicia Walker were absent.
